Hello!! ☺ A very random, unimportant post, being the spontaneous person I sometimes am. Sort of a self-reflecting journal, and also sharing my art struggle thoughts :) From time to time, I look at 5+ yr old drawings of mine, and wonder if I've even improved since then. It's honestly hard to tell sometimes especially when I draw all the time. But especially because everything I upload online or scan from sketchbooks are almost always cherry-picked, I realize my folders of artwork or online "galleries" are showing me a skewed view of my skill level on a given year. There are pieces of work in each year that seem to stand out among the rest, and seem beyond my actual skill level- a lucky drawing. And these are probably the ones I end up sharing online, but it's always been quite frustrating to be not able to replicate that type of work consistently at my own will. Recently I'm finally starting to grasp the feeling of being able to control the thing I'm drawing. (here I'm still only

a very random post (sorry for the lack of updates as of late, (or always....))
I think I'm a little particular when it comes to the feeling of a piece, so sometimes I would complete the entire thing from rough to color, but end up just scrapping it.
Other times, I spend half the usual time on one, and it feels done.
When I look back half a year or years later, these don't look TERRIBLE, but they just don't resonate.
OH On the far right is just a random line ver of Jirobo X) (Which I did upload

~commission update + survey
Hello!
This is a little update on my current thoughts on commissions.
I know there have been quite a few people asking about when I will be open again; I appreciate your interest!
As I had suspected, it's looking like if I do open commissions before January, I will only be able to take a very, very limited amount (3~5 slots).
And I'm wondering if I should even try to take any at all, or just wait until next summer, late April.
If there is only a small number of people that are interested, I'd be more comfortable with taking such a few..
I had also wanted to add more variety to my commissions, but looks lik
